How nice would it be to leave our children a great inheritance, or give them anything that they ever asked for. It would even be great if we could start saving for their college education.
As Moms we spend so much of our time and energy providing for our kids and as many of their wants as possible.
Sadly, we sometimes even end up compromising somethings we want, to give them all we can. Some of us may work way too many hours away from home or make questionable decisions or cut moral corners because everyone else does. We forget that one of the best things we can give our children is a good foundation. Our Kids have a better chance at happiness if we make our choices based on an eternal perspective rather than on temporary pleasures that only the things of this world can provide.
MOMS we need to start taking the things of God seriously, if we don't teach our kids in the right path then no one will, it is up to us to do the work God commanded us to do. Lets not let OUR up coming generation learn that the things of this World are the right things. Our Children are smarter than what we think. Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
